How many people do you send into my home?
We send one cleaning person only.
We never send teams or crews of cleaners into your home.
Only one Custom Maid is assigned to the responsibility of cleaning your house
or apartment. When you call to schedule your first visit, we will select a qualified
cleaning person for your home. This first visit will serve as an opportunity
for your Custom Maid to demonstrate the standard of excellence you can expect.
Then, once you are established and satisfied with a particular Custom
Maid, we like to send that same cleaning person back to you each time;
the cleaner has met you and is familiar with your home and your individual
expectations.
Whether you use the service once a week or once a year, you will have your own
cleaning person . . . someone you are comfortable with and who understands your
needs.
What are the qualifications of a Custom Maids employee?
At CUSTOM MAIDS, we devote more time and effort to recruiting experienced cleaning
personnel than we do any other aspect of our business. To us, the
ideal candidate for employment is one who comes to us with years of
prior cleaning experience and verifiable references. As a result,
our staff is largely comprised of traditional cleaning ladies who
have been in positions of trust for many years before joining our
staff.
Notwithstanding the prior qualifications they may have, all new recruits
must complete a training program with the Company, involving
classroom and practical components. Those who successfully
complete the training are added to our staff. Once employed, our standards
are maintained through an ongoing program of training and/or supervision.
All staff members are bonded and covered by comprehensive liability
insurance. As they are employees of CUSTOM MAIDS, the Company is wholly
responsible for employees' Worker's Compensation coverage and payroll
taxes.
What housecleaning services do you provide?
It is entirely up to you how your cleaning visits
are structured. You may provide specific instructions or leave the housework
in the hands of your Custom Maid.
Each time your Custom Maid visits your home, you are welcome to specify
exactly how you would like your time spent. For example, on a particular
cleaning visit you may wish to have the oven cleaned out and the refrigerator
cleaned out; you may want some windows washed and some laundry done.
Should you leave instructions of this kind, your Custom Maid will
gladly work from your priority list.
On the other hand, many of our clients have busy work schedules and
want minimal involvement in the cleaning of their house or apartment;
they are rarely at home during cleaning visits and expect their Custom
Maid to maintain their residence with little or no input from them.
All of our employees are qualified to work without instruction. Our
staff is comprised largely of traditional cleaning ladies who have
come to us with years of housecleaning experience and all have completed
CUSTOM MAIDS' training program.

The first time we visit your home, it
is advisable to have your Custom Maid concentrate on a thorough
General Cleaning.
But after the initial visit (should you go on to become a regular
customer), your cleaner will be able rotate Major Jobs, thereby
maintaining your home on an ongoing basis.

Do I have to use the service regularly?
It is entirely up to you how often you use the service.
Many people require service every week or every two weeks, while
others have us in once a month or once every two months.
Thousands of people use Custom Maids only occasionally. They are
regular customers but, due to a busy or erratic schedule, it is
only convenient for them to call us now and then, on an as-needed
basis.
Whether you need service just occasionally, or regularly on a weekly,
bi-weekly, monthly, or bi-monthly basis, we will be glad to accommodate
your particular need.
P.S. We can handle your move-in/move-out cleaning needs as well.
How much does it cost?
When you call CUSTOM MAIDS to discuss your cleaning needs,
we will establish an appropriate rate for the cleaning of your house
or apartment, based on the size of your home and your individual
expectations.

The majority of our clients can be accommodated at the 'Standard
House' rate.
Generally, a Standard House is one which does not exceed:
Two Levels
Three Bedrooms/Two Bathrooms
Kitchen/Livingroom/Diningroom
No Additional Rooms
Clients with larger houses can usually be accommodated at the 'Large
House' rate.
Establishing an exact rate for a Large House, however, requires
a discussion with our office.
